The Artists:
Craig Bickhardt is a critically acclaimed folk/Americana performing songwriter with major writing credits, a poet’s voice, a virtuoso guitar style and a veteran’s experience. His songs have found their way onto platinum and Grammy-winning recordings by legends such as Johnny Cash, Martina McBride, Willie Nelson, Ray Charles, B.B. King, Jonathan Edwards, David Wilcox, Pam Tillis, Kathy Mattea and Alison Krauss. Craig's voice and songs can be heard in the Academy Award-winning film "Tender Mercies," starring Robert Duvall, as well as the films "Switchback" and "At Close Range."
Jesse Terry is a singer-songwriter whose intimacy with audiences, sincerity, and approachability has solidified him as a favorite at festivals and live venues nationwide. He plays around 150 shows a year, from Bonnaroo to the Philadelphia Folk Festival, the 30A Songwriters Festival to AmericanaFest. After graduating from Berklee College of Music he landed a five-year staff writer gig on Nashville’s Music Row penning material for major TV networks. The Grand Prize winner of The John Lennon Songwriting Contest and The CMT/NSAI Song Contest, he has garnered worldwide acclaim including an official endorsement by Stonebridge Guitars International.
J.D. Malone is a veteran of the local Philly music scene, and his band, The Experts, is respected by many far better-known musicians. J.D. Malone writes and sings songs about love and hate, angels and demons and the universal struggle to feel safe under the stars. His original music rocks; It's fun; And it's really good. The Philadelphia Inquirer has compared him to Credence, Tom Petty, and the Everly Brothers. Good company - and a pretty accurate description. J.D. has shared the stage with many great acts including: Third Eye Blind, Fuel, Living Colour, The Fixx, Robert Hazard, Silvertide, John Eddie, Jim Photoglo, Idlewheel, Don Henry, Ian Hunter, Jack Sundrud and Pure Prairie League.
Tom Hampton is a singer-songwriter, and is everyone’s favorite side-man and studio musician. Before moving to Nashville, he regularly performed with top area acts including Craig Bickhardt, J.D. Malone, Lizanne Knott and Dan May. Tom has toured with the Marshal Tucker band and most recently joined one of the first and longest-lasting country-rock groups, Poco.
You will be knocked out by their musicianship, and entertained by the wonderful, often hilarious stories they tell about their songs and careers. This show promises to be as good as it gets! All are welcome. Don't miss the opportunity to see these country music greats.
The doors will open at 6:30 PM and the concert will begin at 7 PM. The concert is free, but a free-will offering of $20-$25 is suggested.
