He later received his undergraduate education at Yale University and his seminary training at Harvard Divinity School. An ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA), Rev. Taryn Timko (they/them)
Director for Children, Youth and Families
I'm Taryn Timko, and here are a few fun tidbits about me: I'm a huge fan of Studio Ghibli anime films; there's something magical about their storytelling that always captivates me. My favorite color? Green, hands down – it's just so vibrant and full of life! And if you ever catch me outside of church, chances are I'm either watching anime, playing DnD, experimenting with a new baking recipe, or all three! Can't wait to share laughs, lessons, and maybe even a few homemade treats with all of you. Let's make some unforgettable memories together on this adventure of faith!"

Don joined our staff in 2020. He brings a passion for safety and for helping the church be its best self. We appreciate his dedication to doing things right the first time, and his desire to use his gifts in God's service. Don attended seminary himself in a prior life, and is happy to talk about how his faith aligns with his work in the church.
